Team Canada Beats the US!

In the first of a four game pre-Olympic exhibition series, Team Canada beats Team USA in extra's. Richard Keith Clapp (aka Stubby Clapp) scored the winning run off of a Scott Thorman double in the top of the 10th as Team Canada. This would be the second, and final time the Canucks would lead the ballgame en route to victory.

Below is the official box score for Team Canada from this game:

This was not a terrible performance from Team Canada although the hitters were not altogether on top of their respective games. Hopefully whatever rust exists (keep in mind, many of these players had left their current clubs over a week prior to this game, a substantial layoff for a ballplayer) will be removed during this exhibition series.
